Things to do in the area!

Pittsburg is the perfect destination for your peaceful relaxing vacation.  Enjoy beautiful views of Lake Francis and gorgeous sunsets.

Garfield Falls- located off Magalloway Road and just a short hike to a beautiful waterfall tucked in the woods.

• Magalloway Lookout Tower- located off Magalloway Road, hike to a fire tower and enjoy fantastic views of mountains and surrounding lakes.  You can also see Maine and Canada from the tower. There’s lots of wildlife to watch.  Moose, deer, bear, and loons can be seen through out the area. There are three covered bridges in Pittsburg. Snowmobile from our cabins to the hundreds of miles of trails that lead to Maine, Vermont and Canada. ATV trails are open from mid spring to the end of October. Fall foliage comes early in the North Country, color peaks mid to late September.

• An outdoorsman's paradise- the Connecticut Lakes and many streams offer great fishing for trout and salmon.  Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy the serenity of the area on the open lakes.  A great destination for hunting, with thousands of
acres of forest to track your game.
